This tour is approximately 3 hours long.

What’s included in my ticket/experience?

Journey through the Red Rock Canyon in a custom built Tour Trekker vehicle equipped with plush leather captain’s chairs, extra-large viewing windows, and a flat screen DVD player for the ultimate in touring style. You’ll see the blazing Red Spring Mountain Range, the 65 million year-old Keystone Thrust, fossilized sand dunes, and the brilliantly colored Calico Hills. Your guided journey along this 13-mile scenic loop will surely impress you with all of its natural beauty. An expert guide will give you lots of insight, fun facts, and history about the region.Enjoy convenient hotel pickup from your experienced local guide.Shop, see educational exhibits and meet desert tortoises at the Visitor’s Center.Learn about the dozens of famous films set in Red Rock Canyon.See thriving plants and animals at Spring Mountain’s water sources.Take pictures of the kaleidoscopic Southwest colors of Calico Hills.Get a bird’s eye view of all the area’s landmarks at Red Rock Canyon Overlook.

Where do I go to be picked up for my tour?

Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel unless otherwise noted on your confirmation. Most hotels require us to go to specific locations for pick-ups. See your hotel concierge for exact location or contact us for more information.

Should we tip our guide, and if so how much?

It is customary to tip the guide. Gratuity is based on individual preference but we suggest 15%, which is the industry standard.

What should I wear for this tour?

We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing with closed toe shoes. You may want to bring a hat and layered clothing.

What should I bring?

Sunscreen and a hat. Don't forget to bring a camera! A purse or standard sized backpack are acceptable, however, there is no storage space in our vehicles. Anything you bring needs to fit comfortably in your lap throughout the tour.

Can I bring food or alcohol?

For the safety and comfort of our guests, full meals or glass bottles are prohibited on the vehicle. If necessary you are welcome to bring a small containable snack such as a granola bar. Due to Nevada law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited in our vehicles.

Are there any items that are prohibited on this tour?

For the comfort of all guests, items prohibited include, but are not limited to, firearms, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, drones, glass containers, alcohol, coolers, professional video equipment, illegal substances, guns, weapons of any kind, or cremated remains.

Will there be other people on this tour?

Although our tours are intimate due to vehicle size, there will likely be other guests on the tour. Open air Jeeps accommodate up to 9 guests. Enclosed vehicles accommodate up to 10 guests.

What should I expect from my guide?

A fun, safe and educational experience! All of our guides are extensively trained in the flora, fauna, geology and history of the area. They are CPR certified, Smith System Driver Safety trained (driver training course) and First Aid certified. Most of our guides are also Certified Interpretive Guides! They will conduct their tour professionally while educating you on the area, all while having a fun and entertaining time.

Are hotel pick-ups offered?

Yes. Complimentary pick-up for this tour is offered at most hotels on the Las Vegas strip.

What is the minimum age for children on this tour?

Minimum child age for day tours is 3 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Is this tour safe?

Yes! Our guides are highly trained in how to maneuver the vehicles, and have been thoroughly trained in 4X4 techniques. Our guides are also Smith System Safety and Compliance for road safety, and are also CPR and first aid certified.

Are pets allowed on this tour?

Pets are not allowed on this tour. Service animals are permitted.

Can people with physical disabilities take your tours?

For the safety of our passengers, all guests must have upper body strength with the ability to hold themselves up during the tour. Guests are responsible for getting themselves in and out of our vehicles for their tour.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Collapsible wheelchairs are permitted when the guest is accompanied by another adult to assist in boarding and disembarking.

Can pregnant women go on your tours?

The majority of our tours are available to expectant women due to traveling on paved roads. Our Jeep tours are not available for women who are expecting.

Do your tours require walking or hiking?

All of our tours have stops where you will be getting out of the vehicle and doing short walks on uneven terrain that is paved or dirt pathways.

What are your office hours?

Pink Jeep Tour's Contact Center is open 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM November 5 - March 10, and 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM March 11 - November 4.

How can inclement weather effect my tour?

Our tours operate rain or shine. Rainfall is generally very short lived, and may offer the chance for you to see rainbows over the desert. We do carry rain ponchos on the vehicles in case of inclement weather. In the case of extreme weather, Pink Jeep Tours reserves the right to modify, shorten or cancel any tour to prevent damage to trails or avoid unsafe conditions.

How much sun exposure will I get on this tour?

Our Jeeps have canopies that offer some relief from sun exposure; however. most of our tours are in fully enclosed vehicles. Due to various stops conducted on all of our tours, we recommend you wear a hat, sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.

Do you have A/C or heating in your vehicles?

For tours conducted in our open air Jeeps, there is no air conditioning or heating in these vehicles. The jeeps are equipped with canopies to shield you from the sun and we provide blankets during colder weather. For tours conducted in our enclosed vehicles, usually used for our longer day trips, there is air conditioning and heating in these vehicles. Blankets are also provided during colder weather.

Do the vehicles have Wi-Fi?

No, our tours take you into remote areas where Internet service and often cell phone service are not available. We recommend that our guests switch their phones to airplane mode during the tour so they can use the camera functions without draining the battery (due to the phone searching for a signal).
